Round Vibratory Sieve
VE-60 · VE-140Circular body, three-dimensional vibration. Material spirals outward from the centre; fines pass the mesh, oversize reaches the outlet. Stacked screen decks give several fractions from one machine.
Mimics hand sieving: low speed, wide tumbling motion. Particles stay long on the screen and take no impact; sharp cut at fine meshes, no damage to fragile products.
Price is quoted according to material, size and capacity.
In a vibratory machine the body shakes fast and hard; in a tumbler screener the body sways slowly through a wide arc. The motion resembles shaking a sieve tray back and forth by hand: low speed, high amplitude.
This motion has two consequences. First, a particle stays on the screen far longer and has more chances to meet an opening; at fine meshes the sharpness of cut rises noticeably. Second, the impact on the particle is low; fragile products do not break and flake- or leaf-shaped products are not crushed.
Because the load on the screen wire is also low, screen life is longer than on a vibratory type. In applications using fine mesh this difference shows directly in running cost.
The trade-off is space and speed: for the same capacity a tumbler screener needs a larger screen area and runs more slowly. Choosing it for coarse separation is unnecessary cost.
For products where particle breakage is not acceptable, at very fine mesh openings, and in jobs where sharpness of cut matters more than capacity.
